During the customs inspection of  Ms. Narmina Imamaliyeva crossing the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the Islamic Republic of Iran, 1000 grammes of handmade heroin hidden from the customs control was detected by the employees of Astara Customs Office.

Criminal prosecution was launched on N.Imamaliyeva based on articles 206.3.2, 234.4.1 and 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Investigation determined that she, being in criminal contact with the fellow-villager Samadulla Asadov, got and kept the above mentioned narcotics in August of this year in Astara city of the Islamic Republic of Iran and secretly smuggled it through the customs borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan out of customs control.

N.Imamaliyeva was acused by articles 206.3.2, 234.4.1 and 234.4.3 of CC of the Republic of Azerbaijan and arrested by the decision of Yasamal District Court.
