On February 1 the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipoteentiary of Netherland Kingdom in our country Arjen Peter Uijterlinde.
The Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev warmly greeting the guest spoke about existing economic, political, cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Netherland Kingdom. He expressed his assurance to further expansion of these relations.
Aydin Aliyev speaking with concrete facts about the positive results of the economic reforms implemented last years in our republic under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized that there is a great potential in different directions of relations between Azerbaijan and Netherland Kingdom and in the customs sphere. At the same time he also expressed the importance of maximum benefit from this opportunity. The SCC Chairman spoke about perspectives sphere and moved ahead the importance of the mutual activity, exchange of experience for deepening of the cooperation.
The Committee Chairman paying attention to the passed development way of the Customs Service of the Independent Azerbaijan spoke about the role of the customs authorities in the formation of the budget incomes and in the provision of the economic security. He also spoke on implemented measures in the application of the information technologies and strengtening of the material-technical basis direction.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Netherland Kingdom in our country Arjen Peter Uijterlinde expressed \his satisfaction with his diplomatic activity in our republic and emphasized the great importance to the cooperation in all spheres of his government with Azerbaijan. The Ambassador speaking about future cooperation of Netherland Kingdom and Azerbaijan customs authorities said that he had information about holding important trainings and seminars by participation of experts of some world countries in the Regional Training Centre of the World Customs Organization located in Baku. He expressed his assurance that holding trainings by the participation of Netherlands specialists, sharing experience and knowledge with Azerbaijan colleagues would be a gift for the development of the mutual cooperation.
The Ambassador Arjen Peter Uijterlinde said that he closely familiarized with the official internet site of the State Customs Committee. He informed with pleasure that rather important electronical services for business organizations and citizens were reflected in this site. He hoped that in future location of information related with the legislation and customs statistics in Azerbaijan, Russian and English Languages would be considered.
