On March 10 the seminar about peculiarities of customs transit regime was held in the Regional Training Centre of the World Customs Organization in Baku.
The Chief of the Customs Control Organizational Head Office of the State Customs Committee, customs service Major-General Shahin Bagirov said in the opening ceremony of the event that holding succession seminars about peculiarities of customs transit regime for employees of customs authorities of Azerbaijan in the Regional Training Centre was considered. The Chief of the Head Office said that the subject of the first seminar devotion to peculiarities of customs transit regime wasn't accidental. He emphasized that the customs transit was the most important regime. This regime is applied in all customs authorities and other customs regimes are always directly related with the customs transit regime or they are completed by it.
Shahin Bagirov recommended an attentive approach to being applied lectures. At the same time he invited them to be active in the discussions. The Chief of the Head Office expressed his assurance that the event would be very useful for activity of customs employees. He noted that existing problems in the sphere of the customs transit regime and their solution ways would be looked through in the seminar.
Then the seminar started its activity. Sh.Bagirov made a speech with the first lecture by name "Regulation means for international transit transportations". Detailed information about existing conventions about the international transit transportations, agreements and other international acts, legal documents considered application in the perspective was given.
Customs control and customs clearance rules of commodities and means of transport in the transit customs regime, "International Road Transport by applying TIR booklet" Customs Convention, customs control and customs clearance during cargo transportations using of TIR booklet, permission procedures for transportations of means of transport under customs guarantees etc matters were spoken in the made speeches.
