Future perspectives of relations between customs services were discussed

 

On May 12 the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev received newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia Kingdom to our country Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari.

The Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev warmly greeting the guest first of all on the occasion of the new appointment congratulated him and wished him successes in his future activity. A.Aliyev speaking on existing relations between Saudi Arabia Kingdom and Azerbaijan emphasized the development of the cooperation in all spheres. The SCC Chairman reminding with pleasure the visits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Saudi Arabia Kingdom, held meeting with King Abdulla Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, warm relations supporting on the firendship and mutual cooperation of both countries said that this kind relations gave new impluse to the development of the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Kingdom. The SCC Chairman Aydin Aliyev expressing his gratitude for the support of our country`s position related with the regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by Arabia said that Saudi Arabia was always near Azerbaijan in this painful problem for Azerbaijan and this kind relation is very important for us/.

The Chairman of the Committee noted that today as a result of the successful continuation of being implemented economic reforms for the sake of the development of our republic of our people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev by our honourable President Ilham Aliyev Azerbaijan for the development tendency became the leader state in the region. He assumed a special importance to the relations of our country integrating into the world economy with Saudi Arabia Kingdom. At the same time he also spoke the importance of the cooperation in all spheres.

The SCC Chairman having a short glance at the passed development way of the Azerbaijan Customs Service spoke about the importance of further intensification of existing relations between customs services of two countries. He emphasized the importance of the mutual activity and exchange of experience for deepening of the cooperation. The Committee Chairman said that the important trainings, seminars were held in the Regional Training Centre of the World Customs Organization in Baku by the participation of some world countries experts. He emphasized the importance of joining of the customs employees of Saudi Arabia Kingdom this kind measures. The Committee Chairman also spoke on inevitability of sharing experiences and knowledge with Azerbaijan colleagues.

Newly appointed ambassodar extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia Kingdom to our country Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari expressing his gratitude for the warm reception considers his activity as an ambassador in Azerbaijan an honour. He said that he was considerably pleased with the fast economic development speed in our country. The ambassador highly appreciated the present position of the political, cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Kingdom. He is interested in the development of the cooperation of his country in the economic sphere. He emphasized the inevitablity of the maximum benefiting of existing opportunities.

Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari glancing at the cooperation relations in the customs sphere between our countries said that he would closely take part in processes related with the considerable intensification relations in the customs sphere.

A wide exchange of opinion on matters of mutual interest was carried out at the meeting.
