Last achievements of TIR Convention and New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) were looked through
On Febrary 11-12 in the frame of Twinning project “Improvement of Turkey Customs Office-NCTS Component” the seminar on “TIR Convention and New Computerized Transit System (NCTS); the latest achievements” was held. The measure was jointly organized by the above mentioned country governments European Community and International Automobile European Community and International Automobile Transport Union.

Drug smuggling was prevented
As a result of implemented measures in the struggle direction against illegal drugs trafficking by customs employees people trying to transport drug by smuggling way to the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan from the Islamic Republic of Iran were exposed and rendered harmless, over 2 kg. heroin was detected and taken from them.

30 numbers 0.5 litre, 24 numbers 0.75 litre vodka with mark “Stolichnaya” and 6 numbers 0.75 litre vodka with mark “Moscovskaya” without excise mark for transportation to the Republic of Azerbaijan belonging to the citizen of the Russian Federation Adilova Svetlana Gadimovna was detected and taken in “Samur” customs post of Khachmaz Customs Office. >>>
