The delegation of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Vilnius, Lithuania from November 29 to December  1, 2010  to get acquainted with the experience of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania.

On December 10th new website of the State Customs Committee has been presented in Baku Business Center under the framework of "E-customs services in Customs-Business Partnership".

On December 4, 2010 the new website of the State Customs Committee was awarded the second place in "Milli Net 2010" contest. Founded by Azerbaijan Internet Forum, "Milli Net" is held every year among websites developed in various spheres (social, cultural, scientific, legal, economic and etc.) and necessarily in Azerbaijani language, as required by the rules. 

 The new website of the States Customs Committee won the contest in the nomination of "the best e-service" organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies dedicated to the 6th December - a professional holiday of workers of Communications and Information Technologies and to develop the information society in the country. 

Regional seminar on "Transit control systems" has been held in WCO Regional Training Center in Astana, Kazakhstan last month as a part of technical assistance program funded by WCO-Japan Customs Cooperation Fund.
